This all-day bus tour through Washington Crossing, Trenton, and Princeton explores the social, topographical, and military aspects of the campaigns of the Ten Crucial Days, December 25, 1776 to January 3, 1777. Historical interpreters include Larry Kidder, author of TEN CRUCIAL DAYS: Washington’s Vision for Victory Unfolds, and Roger S. Williams, cofounder of TenCrucialDays. org. Cost $125, includes bus fare and lunch and tax-deductible donations to historic sites. Tickets are limited.

67th Annual Christmas Day Crossing Reenactment

(Crossing: 1pm) Witness American History Come to Life! Each December,thousands of people gather on the banks of the Delaware Riverto watch the reenactment of George Washington’s daring 1776Christmas night river crossing. During the event, several hundredreenactors in Continental military dress listen to an inspiringspeech by General Washington and then row across the river inreplica Durham boats.

The Princeton Battlefield Society will present its annual educational event commemorating the Battle of Princeton, the immediate sequel to the Second Battle of Trenton. The event will start at 9:00am at the Princeton Historical Society’s Updike Farm, adjacent to Princeton Battlefield State Park, with a presentation by local historian William L.
