ABOUT PATRIOTS WEEK
Every year, between December 26 and 31, New Jersey’s Capital City presents Patriots Week, a unique opportunity for residents and tourists to explore historic sites and experience those pivotal days in our nation’s history — events that changed the world.
This year, the Trenton Downtown Association (TDA) is partnering again with local groups to bring history to life for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Through the immersive experience that is Patriots Week, we recognize Trenton’s unique and pivotal role in the American Revolution. See our growing events list
Last year, many events were canceled due to the COVID pandemic. As Patriots Week rebounds for 2022, we are proud to offer several events throughout the week as we plan to return to full glory with Battle of Trenton re-enactments expected to return next year.
With dozens of events taking place during the six-day period, we invite families and history aficionados to spend a few days in Central New Jersey this December. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for all updates and news!
Patriots Week is promoted by the Trenton Downtown Association (TDA) in partnership with the City of Trenton, the Old Barracks Museum, Trenton Free Public Library, and several community nonprofit agencies and enthusiastic volunteers.
