Patriots Week, 250-Sized!

As 1776 drew to a close, George Washington changed the course of history, and saved the American Revolution, in and around the city of Trenton. His army made its famous Crossing of the Delaware on Christmas Day, marched to Trenton, and defeated the British Army’s Hessian soldiers in the First Battle of Trenton. This was followed soon after by a Second Battle of Trenton, and a final march to victory at the Battle of Princeton. 

Each year Patriots Week celebrates this turning point of history in Trenton with a weeklong series of events, exhibitions, entertainment and family fun, from December 26-31. For this special 250th commemoration year, we’re rolling out a special 250-sized calendar of activities for the whole family.
