The New Jersey State Library presents an online author talk with author, lecturer, and historian Joel Farkas.

In this lecture, you’ll be introduced to a 21-year-old Virginia Militia Major named George Washington and follow him through a timeline of events including his time in New Jersey. You’ll follow a cause-and-effect timeline that includes famous events like the Revolutionary War; people like Martha Washington; battles including the Battle of Trenton; and a song.
